Privacy Policy
SEO Audit Tool is built to need as little of your information as possible. There are no accounts, no signups and no report history. This page explains, honestly and in plain words, what happens when you use the tool.
What happens when you run an audit
When you enter a URL and press the button, our server fetches that page — the same way a browser or a search-engine crawler would — and reads its HTML to run the checks. The fetched page is processed in memory only, for the few seconds the audit takes. We do not store the URLs you enter, the pages we fetch, or the reports we generate. Once your report is sent back to your browser, nothing about the audit is kept on our side.
What is kept, and where
- The daily counter: to keep this free service sustainable, the site counts how many audits you have run today. That counter lives only in your own browser's local storage — it never leaves your device, and you can erase it any time by clearing your browser data.
- Standard server logs: like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use them to build profiles or to track your audits.
- No analytics on your reports: your audit results are shown only to you, in your browser. We do not sell, share or publish them.
The pages you audit
The tool only fetches pages that are publicly reachable on the web. Auditing a page tells its owner nothing about you — the request looks like an ordinary visit from a browser. We block private and internal network addresses, so the tool cannot be used to probe non-public systems.
Changes to this policy
If the way the tool handles data ever changes, this page will be updated first and the change will be described here plainly.
